Have you ever wanted to try something different? Do you love being on or near the water? Then paddling might be the perfect thing for you!

Anyone and everyone is most welcome to come along and have a go whether you are an intense athlete or looking to start exercising, we can cater for all your needs and experiences.

Everyone is able to attend 3 sessions free of any cost to see if outrigging is for you.

We currently have competitive teams from our juniors which start from 8 years of age to 60+ who are our Golden Master. As you can see, age has no limit when it comes to paddling!

Bayside Outrigger Canoe Club was founded in August 2009 by Rowe Wharehinga & Susan Bower, with the help of family, friends and the Maori Business Forum – Kapene. This great family-based sporting club is based in Raby Bay, paddling on the beautiful waters of Moreton Bay.

Outrigging is a relatively new sport to Australia originating in the Polynesian Islands. Today outrigging is a fun sport for the entire family catering to kids from 8 years to adults. Racing occurs from September through to May, with training throughout the year.
